EC Argument

Didn't someone (maybe H?) post the argument regarding why we should be granted an EC? This would be a nice post to thumbtack to the top of the board so everyone can quickly see why we think there's a good strong case to have the EC approved. Unless of course the detractors use those points to challenge our argument.
