The most concerning part of that document for me is this statement
106.2 - 9
"Most of the copper minerals have actually reported to the tailings in the material processed to date"
Let's hope they can reprocess those and figure out a way to not have this happen in the future.
As to groundwater contamination, if most of the copper is in the rocks in the first place and we're not pulling it out, wouldn't the possibility of contamination be essentially the same as if we had just left the rocks there and they got rained on?
