Anything is possible.
The real problem, for me at least, is that things get twisted around so easily. No one goes through the effort to clarify things.
Alot of people are getting mixed up from reading these posts. I am trying to paint a clear picture.
In that post the person thought that Frank sold the entire show, when he did not, he sold the rights to broadcast it, two totally different things.
I just prefer people be totally informed than just listening to the cheerleader crowd.
There are positives and minues to everything, and I think alot of feel anything less than a total carrier agreement will not get us where we want to be.
This will generate revenue, but not the kind of revenue that broadcasting the entire station would.
Frank has made many comments on how large of a movie library they have purchased, that cost big money and its not being used because we do not have a carrier agreement.
Money was used for the buy back, could it have been used for the carrier DTV deal?
Unfortunetly, Frank is a football coach, damned if you do, damned if you don't, for those who follow Lion's football will know just what I mean :)
To me selling syndication is like getting 10 cents on the dollar...
But I base what I say based on the information I have in front of me, and thats what I comment on. People come up with all kind of positive spins to put on things, what I think they don't realize is, if those positive spins were true, they would be in the PR, since any good news is never left on the wayside.
Still, if Ronnie will return my phone calls, I'd get more clarification.
