If you check the records----
The shares show as 100,000,000, and a separate amount for 10,000,000: Couldn't 10,000,000 shares be for a subsidiary , so then when fin'l statements are consolidated for reporting purposes, it is still only 100 million. This filing was 10/30/1997.
