Unbelievable...

Have you guys seen this months Wards AutoWorld magazine? It's worth a look, just for the article "Eaton Poised for Commercial-Vehicle Hybridization" related to the Eaton hybrid tranny and to see the picture of how huge the accumulators are to generate the necessary vehicle start up torque. I have heard of this technology before, but had never actually seen the size of these things!!

If the IVT is capable of starting the vehicle out of the box as touted, without devices like these, then this proposal from one of the worlds leading transmission manufacturers looks like something out of the Rube Goldberg Machine Design 101 handbook! The accumulators appear to be over half the length of the vehicle wheelbase!

.... Can you imagine, if something like this is getting press in a nationally syndicated magazine, what Torvec could draw not having the need for these contraptions???!!! ...wow!...I sincerely hope the marketing /communications team is up to speed on all this industry stuff and the press releases we will soon see reflect the true geneius of the Torvec technology!

And if they do, hold on to your hats people, and get ready for ignition sequence...
