Let's face it, it happened in a very very close proximity to Bob's mines. He could have said that the equipment got ruined, that investors pulled out due to the disaster, etc.
He had a million scenarios at his disposal, but instead he posted a PR saying that the production will, indeed, start in the nearest future. I think this is a good sign.
Granted, we witnessed a huge sell-off right after that. But the price has already recovered.
