Maybe F. Scott Fitzgerald's remark can be amended to encompass the ability to recognize when two ideas are NOT opposed?
As for projected runs and dips, that's all they are. You can wait, participate and stop loss your way though the buy/sell thicket all at the same time, or you can rationalize yourself into inaction. THOSE are real choices.
