This is another example why the 510k process is the necessary way to approval. IMGG is using an existing compnent that has been approved and is positioning it in a whole new way. The flat panel detector is perpendicular to energy emitting source.

Flat panel detectors have definite benefits. It's been discussed here before, but here's a quick read:

Now, IMGG has taken your referenced system and moved it light years ahead by allowing sagittal, coronal, ortho, orthogonal, proximal, distal, etc. views of the ROI with less than a 2/10th of a second delay.

Nothing else comes close. Period

The applications for surgical procedures is enormous.
