For example, an announcement of completion of the acquisition of the cell phone disposal co. Or confirmation of a different # of companies signed up for service. Otherwise, attendees would be privy to communicable insider info.....emails, tweets, phone calls to brokers...and would be able to do stock purchases, or sales, over their mobile devices.
