How could the Market cap change with a forward or a revese split, Makes no sense to me


1MM shares at 1.00 10 to 1 RS = 100k shares at 10.00 Still a million dollars!! I would assume that a forward split would be the same concept in reverse

100K shares at 10.00 1 to 10 FS = 1MM shares at 1.00 Still a million dollars


What am I missing????
