If you're referring to the certification from the NAA, BEHL doesn't need it to sell product. Certifications only state that the product in question meets the standards of the certifying organization - in this case, the NAA. It's a nice thing to have (depending on how strict the criteria are), but not necessary by any stretch. It may not be worth anything at all if they don't apply some strict standards to the cert process.

The only thing BEHL needs to prove to a client is that they can deliver what the CLIENT is asking for. No one else. If it's used as part of a drug, then the client will have to make sure the end product meets FDA standards, etc, but from our point of view, that just means delivering a CLEAN strain of whatever algae the client orders.

IMO we've rectified this contamination issue with the construction of the sterile lab environment.
