Note to Myst and Yong for future releases: I do find the 'Symbol' list of minimal value. The reason is that if you select one of the symbols, it uses whatever settings are already being used by the program. It would be more useful if by selecting a symbol it would actually open up the .xdv file itself with its own saved settings.

I am a new user, and very much in a learning mode...in other words, my point of view could be off the beaten track. Anyway, I found a use for the Symbol list.

I may have 3 or 4 different optimizations saved for the same stock, i.e., with various time frames, plus one for the 'live' setup.

The symbol list cannot be used to open up .xdv files, since I may have multiple setups for each symbol. However, the Symbol list tells me, at a glance, which stocks I have done optimiztions for, and whether or not the list is too long. If the list is too long, I weed out the stocks/symbols that are the weakest X_DEV candidates, and make the list more manageable.
