I am still wondering if there was any solid data on the number/amount of 25k notes that were printed. If they removed all these 25k notes from circulation, and possibly destroyed them, what then would be the amount of cash IQD in circulation be?
It really doesn't matter what they are exchange for, if they are exchanged for smaller denoms by CBI through other banks or whatever, and then CBI destroys the large notes, it reduces the total cash in circulation.
If there was a LOP, all new currency would be printed and issued to replace all current denominations with a specific exchange window, most likely it would be an "in country" exchange if they did LOP (IMO) and it would be lame to think they would LOP certain denoms and RV others.
