TEAR Chart Question...

notice this morning the volume spike and price run fm 2.60 - 3.10 and the right back down.

how would you read that action? could it be possible someone trying to accumulate shares before some event/announcement/etc. let it get away from them and they forced it back down hoping nobody would notice? thanks.
