My 2 cents again--

Why not KATX as a Holding Company ---and creat 4 or 5 "wholy- Owned" subsidiaries that can conduct business and establish JVs on their own merit----

KATX could spin one or two off at a point of time in the future---depending on tax consequences--or just keep bringing in the profits from their ownership---

It's sorta like having kids --- you set them up in business and they turn over all the profits to you,, until you deem they need to be set free----so you IPO them out.

And after IPOing them out, you retain some shares as an investment and sell them at some time in the future when cash may be needed---and not dilute KATX shares.
