That's true, the stock will reach a point where it won't matter if people are sitting on the bid because the price will be moving away from them. But on low volume days it definitely helps to keep the pressure to the upside. It only takes a handful of trades to get this stock to move. Unfortunately that holds true for both directions. So if enough people are sitting on the bid we will actually see the stock back up even though people are buying it.
