Atlantis Technology Group (PINKSHEETS: ATNP) Board of Directors has scheduled a meeting for April 9th, 2010 to approve backing a letter of credit from a major financial institution to eliminate the upfront equipment cost for GOTV subscribers. If approved by the Board of Directors, GOTV plans to have the letter of credit in place prior to the launch of the GO V Phone service, thus producing a higher demand for the product.
GOTV feels, with the upfront equipment costs eliminated, the target marketing area will greatly increase along with the amount of GOTV subscribers. For the small monthly fee of $29.95 and an additional equipment rental fee, much like current cable and satellite service providers charge, customers will now be able to enjoy the GOTV IPTV service with very little out of pocket expense.
The Board of Directors will also review details of the GOTV dividend to be issued after the 5 for 1 forward split scheduled for April 6th, 2010.
