Katie, I think your instincts and understanding of human nature are both very good. They have a brief window to get this done this cheaply(price of the option) before word on the IND comes out and the price goes up. I think the price would have been higher in January had they chosen to wait til then. I am willing to bet that the amended protocol got filed today so there was some urgency to get this done. Would not want to be short the stock now. TW
