After writing all this and about 4 replies that seem to side with you, I also remember you wrote this gem; Post #30481 http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=48568271 "omg, anyone who thinks "slapping" or "hitting" the ask price is what moves this stock up or maintains the price ... or that a small amount of selling at the bid is what moves it down, sorry to those who have posted otherwise, but that's ridiculous. NO SINGLE PERSON or even a few people who band together in making similar buy/sell orders, YOU DON'T HAVE THE POWER to move a stock with this many O/S shares for any more than a few minutes, if that! I truly believe in this stock's business model, but I only find true substance in a about a tenth of the posts here. So I'm just going to shuuuush up, stop reading this thread, and make my trades as usual, based on GOIG's business activity. See you all in Vegas when ... GO GOIG!!" Which is why I responded with this; Why Price Moves - An Introduction http://www.yourtradingcoach.com/Articles-Technical-Analysis/Why-Price-Moves-An-Introduction.html I don't think you believe in GOIG in any way nor have an interest in GOIG because after reading most of your posts I realized you post more negative about GOIG than positive. I don't think anyone that had an interest in a stock (shares) would post so much negative as what I've seen you post. Having shares in a stock means wanting the PPS to go up and posting negatively most of the time certainly won’t help no matter how much you try to look impressive. Like your number 3) “it's RIDICULOUS that MINAMAR and GOIG claim belief in a shorting scheme that would cause a forced "short squeeze".” Now you’re starting to sound like an armchair quarterback. I'll repeat what I said to you in an earlier post of mine; "I sometimes wonder if you have a hidden agenda that is NOT in the favor of GOIG or GOIG investors or should I say, I wonder what you're agenda really is". All is JMO Essence of wealth "Short squeeze" when it comes to penny/pinkie stocks, is rare if it even exists. Let me tell you why I think so .... The O/S shares are usually close to a billion if not multi-billions. (GOIG on last filing was 914+mil but we don't know if that number's changed since then) 1) The information supplied by some parties involved is completely unsubstantiated and unreliable. Example: I've compared "short interest" numbers from a combination of posters on this board, Etrade (IF available), shortsqueeze.com, and otcmarkets.com. The disparity in the numbers is laughable, mostly the difference between twice-monthly published numbers on SS and OTC vs ... who is it here who likes to post that daily meaningless crap about short shares? 2) Market Makers definitely screw with the price of penny stocks, and they also sell shares they don't have (they short sell) because buying and selling shares even if they don't have them is their mandated function!! and then guess what? If they're short, they often buy those shares back on the open market to cover their shorts AND THIS IS USUALLY DONE BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY ... and ... they contact other MM's and block-trade between each other. Ever wondered what that 100-share (read 10mil or 50mil trade) below bid means? One MM doing a trade/favor with another. And trust me, it wasn't for 100 shares. 3) No way do I believe that any short interest numbers in GOIG mean diddly squat. The numbers that show (which I contend are not accurate) compared to the O/S of 914mil is so low, it's RIDICULOUS that MINAMAR and GOIG claim belief in a shorting scheme that would cause a forced "short squeeze". 4) If you don't believe anything I've said so far, consider the logic in this ... the company has over 900 mil shares outstanding. The average number of trading shares is either the 10 day avg from etrade (40mil) or maybe the 95mil from yhoo finance whose time frame i don't know. So ... goig either trades 4.3 percent of it's O/S or a max of 10.4 percent daily, right? BOTTOM LINE IS all that BS about short squeezes and MM's getting pissed off at the company for not giving them notice of major events ... When any stock has a significant event that drives HEAVY BUYING that drowns out the selling, THE STOCK GOES UP!!! How simple is that? It's not about short squeezes, people, stop buying that crap, just buy the company's business model or move on! IMO Happy Easter everyone!
