LOL...i didn't think you were schizo.

It's pretty basic stuff 'goldstandard'. a number of Underperforming stores are scheduled for closing-as in permanently shuttered. a number of stores will be closed then re-opened after remodeling. a number of New store build-outs are planned. a number of stores will remain open during remodeling. Read the SEC filings....I think it will calm you.

Delhaize is a world wide company.Delhaize is a very successful company. Successful companies often time close underforming stores while adding new stores in different markets....not schizo in nature at all...just good sound business.

here's the 2009 US market segment recap:

New store openings: 30
Store closings: 17
Stores relocated: 7

Net increase in US stores for 2009: 13
