TNRI mining gold at Norgold by Thanksgiving 2010! is the headline many investors who don't do DD may dream of reading. IMO the reality is this simple : tnri is about 18 months into a 3 yr contract to 'EXPLORE' the NORGOLD area[cost $300,000+] in exchange for 50% ownership and so far they're fulfilling that contract. when instrumentation exploration is complete and annalysed 2010/2011 they will then diamond drill the sites that the readings indicate. then in 2011,based on promising assays they may decide to seek short or long term financing to pay for the environ impact&water studies and gov't permits; then and only then the 'bureacratic powers' that must be obeyed and a$$ kissed MAY let them run 10km of powerlines, build a BASIC mill, and get a LTF ore contract to pay 800K+ a month to run that mill with 200 man /3 shift operation processing ,hopefully, 3000/3500 tons a day input with 750+ tons output/concentrate ore MOST of the year round. at that point they'd be selling concentrate, not smelted gold. that would require even more additional mill site developement and financing with more GOV'T permits and oversite. thats 10's of millions of dollars needing to be invested to do all of this. a SX/EW unit alone[which u'd need to then be able to smelt ur own product] costs millions and i believe is hard to come by even if u got the cash and EPA permits. those days of just putting mill and smelter operations 'in' is gone by about 75 years. it is all done increamentally especially if they choose to go all the way to smelt it. i think thats getting up in the $100 million range. perspective this : to up grade a Km of road to meet GOV'T & EPA can go $500,000+. 'IF' their rollercoaster ride to do all that is not too inundated with GOV'T and TNRI/Joint Venture Pardner INCOMPETENCY, we all MAY own some shares in a working CONCENTRATE gold mine by 2018. IMO. in the mean time, i would NOT expect tnri to cease other 'new' projects to acquire income, financing or trade deals. THAT IS THEY'RE MAIN BUSINESS, they're not some big conglomerate, they operate in stages like most smaller outfits. u cann't 'PUMP' what is obviously a WAY LONG stock to anyone who can read, only impulse buyers who see a presently scavanger priced pps and bet their money instead of investing it. IMO, TNRI is more an exploratory company with WILDCATTER balls, just the mixture for a possible big long return. depending on gross ton or con ton & 70 to 80+ recovery even at .25 oz. per Gton that could be doable as long as gold is above $1000. an oz. , let alone that pie in the sky $1500-$2000. i truly believe the adage " If ur a short jump in & jump out investor then u need to find a different stock, POGOSTICK." what i'm saying here is my opinion. i'm not a mining expert, but have invested in gold and copper mines, which is where i picked up what LIMITED knowledge and speculation i have stated here. i hope it's helpful to inspire u to do more research urselves. glta
