Matt, I love this community but you have chosen to fix something that wasn't broken.

The new design is inferior, more time-consuming, and much less user-friendly. It is most definitely *NOT* improved for iHub oldtimers.

Perhaps if you were targeting ONLY noobs with this new search interface I can see your point...but your real audience should be those of us that more or less live here every market day and support this site through our subscription fees and the other people we bring to the site.
