You're assuming he was going to immediately start notifying them. What if he had nda's that prevented him from notifying until the other 2 of the original 4 are closed? That would mean that the notices get sent out after the 350 comes in and more acquisitions close, then he can tell us about it immediately after. His statement would still be truthful. He would have just outsmarted the naysayers....
