You can make money by both flipping and holding long. Although, I've made my biggest gains by going long. I've also made many small gains through flipping too.

Just depends. To say that longs never make money is quite simply an incorrect statement.

I've chosen to go long on this stock. Hopefully, it will pay off. If you don't think so, perhaps you should move on to another stock you like.

You may also want to do some research on short and long term trading.
