Howdy NLionGuy...

Yep... you are Penn State... smile

I went back and forth between Michigan and Penn State... needed the Penn State game to calm myself down... sheesh what a nail biter... I was yelling at the TV... so loud that the kid next door yelled back... "What's going on in there?" Nice to know that if I'd been attacked, there's a five-year old willing to come to my rescue... let his mother know that football Saturdays are liable to be noisy... fortunately the rest of the neighbors are woodland creatures... if it keeps them from eating the shrubs fine... smile

What a finish on Michigan's end... glad Brabb (spelling? what a name...) was able to pull it off when the chips were down... Michigan got cocky with those first two TDs (I missed them... was finishing up the lawn) and as a result got sloppy... sheesh... nothing like handing your opponent the game... almost. Over the years, I've found that we do best when the first half is tenuous at best... if we're riding the wave heading into the locker room watch out... they have a tendency to blow the second half.

Thought our defense looked pretty tough... I am reserving judgment on the offense... found myself yelling... "Keep it on the ground!" I do not trust that kid... hope the new offensive coordinator makes a difference in the way he plays... time will tell won't it?

From what I saw of the Penn State game... looked like you fellows were going back and forth... when you clicked... dang you clicked... first time out... boys are getting their sea legs... at least they came into this season with end of season wins last year... bet Paterno will keep them in line so they don't get cocky... they are known for their swagger.

As for Paterno putting in your secondary at the end of the game... welcome to the Big Ten... what is the point of rolling up the score when you can give these kids a chance to play... makes sense in the long run... you never know when you are going need them during a high stakes game... good to give them some time on the field. A gentlemanly move all around... spares the guests from total humiliation while getting a little practice in.

JMO...

Glad you were able to see the game live... must have been fun. Is Nebraska at home? Can't remember... that would be the game to see... hope you guys win... and also hope that it is not on the same time as MI if both are on TV that weekend... want to see both games from start to finish...
