1) how well are they selling? rev estimates in article are for all products, not just lightbulb

2) are they as good as the Ionic bulb? can't be the same one if they have obtained exclusive selling agreement

3) have they run a commercial? has anyone seen one?

Remember, this "green" segment will invariably have strong competition since it's such a hot sector at the moment. There will be several 'similar' items but which will be embraced by the buyers the most?

case in point: in the late 70's video tape for home consumers was first introduced. You may know it as VHS tape. VHS was the format, and was wildly popular. It was not, however, the BEST choice out there. The best was a Sony format called BetaMax, which was far superior in quality to VHS, but it didn't last.
Why?
Because the inventor decided the public would never really need more than one hour of taping capability, and when VHS came out with a 2-4 hour capability(which would handle full length movies) it easily won out.

There are many reasons why one product may be chosen over another, even if they look very similar at first glance.
Like, I know about the Sham-Wow, but what was the name of its competitor?
