the % of shorting report today will be an important indicator for us, especially considering this will be day 11 on the naked list. friday and monday each showed about 21% or so, which is down dramatically from the near %50 average over the last few weeks.

I will try to explain this quick and easy. Those short lists at end of day are not shorts as we think they are. All sales of all stocks are considered short sales and are put on that list until they are cleared, usually in about three days. Doesn't matter if is is a regular sell or an actual short sale. When they clear, they are removed from the list. Hope that helps.
