Guys, this service sucks in my opinion. I work in media and here is what I say.
Its a flop because an advertiser will in no way want to use third party software to get a consumer in contact with the advertiser. An advertiser sets up an TV or print ad with exactly how they want you to get in contact already, and thats if they want you to contact them, which is almost never the case anyway. Think about it, if Pizza Hut has a TV ad, and you want to place an order right then, there will be no way for Pizza Hut to create a text word for you to text because it's all local. If you live in Miami Florida, and you see and ad for Pizza Hut, what, is Pizza Hut going to create a speicific text prompt for Pizza Hut in Miami like "pizza miami" and then create text prompts for all other cities in the US? No way in hell, its impossible because the ads change often and that is way over the top.
This goes for all advertisers. In addition, there are virtually no advertisers that want you to call them or contact them in any way. It costs too much. These days, there is almost no staff to talk too because there is no reason to talk to them! Besisdes direct-TV advertising where its an infomercial, what company do you call or text to get their product? If Sears has an ad for 50-inch plasmas for 699 dollars, you aren't goint to call or certainly not text Sears, you go to the store and look.
Advertising, in general, is a way to get people to think about the company and want to go to those stores, like Starbucks, Gap, Appple. What, you think Apple wants you to text Apple to G0800 to buy a freaking Notebook? Hell no, you go to the apple store that is local, and you play with the damn thing.
Just my thoughts, but I know I'm right. You won't see any revs out of this, or very little anyway. Some local Mom and Pop stores may sign up to get you to call the local antique shop, but that's about it.
