The Sara McLachlin CDs now being issued have MM5 protection. I see that as being vitally important news. I mentioned it a few days ago on this board:

I have just been in touch with my best sources.
A striking update is that the new Sara McLachlan CD is quite definitely protected by MM5. BMG are, of course, keen to get as many CDs as possible protected by MM5 before 2005 starts. After that, there will be a full-scale ramp-up.
Anti-piracy coverage through kiosks should become a great revenue-earner soon. Initially, the best locations for kiosks will be in malls.
It all looks good.

There is going to be a terrific ramp-up right through 2005, but it is starting this month.
