END2WAR THAT'S A GOOD POST BUT THE NUMBERS DON'T ADD UP...

Let's say Frank buys back 2% = (190MIL)and reduces the OS to (9.31B)

At 9.5B his 53% was 5.03B shares.
Now at (9.31B)his 5.03B is about 54%.

So...Frank retires 1B of his own shares which leaves Frank 4.03B shares and an OS of 8.31B.

He needs to hold 51% to maintain majority.

8.31B x 51% = 4.23B
8.31B x 49% = 4.07B

This is less than 51% and is not what has just happened...
