I know that but so wasn't the Gulf of Tonkin in the news and voted on to escalate the Vietnam War on something that never happened. We also went to war over the sinking of the battleship Maine because we thought it was torpedoed. Well we have since learned that the explosion came from within the ship and we never had to go to war but then what would William Randolph Hearst have to wrote about then?
