Subject: Short Split. I coined a new word; I think anyway. The question is: Theoretically, how does an upcoming stock split effect short seller behavior? What is typical market behavior around split time, a long-short frenzy? I am assuming there is little short selling prior to the split because current shareholders will hold until after the distribution date, whenever that is . . thank you and I'll take my answer off of the air . . .
