Watch List for Tuesday 3-23-2010

My new big pick is ALME.

Quick Side Note: BLAP closed up 28% and still looks strong, LYJN, an alert from last Friday closed up 91% today!!

Could ALME be the next big runner?

I didn't want to do another big pick so soon but ALME broke out today and this may just be the first day!!

Quickly look at the chart: http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=alme&sid=0&o_symb=alme&freq=1&time=5

The volume on ALME started to pick up over the last few day too, and with ALME closing at the high of the day tells me the momentum will most likely continue into tomorrow!!

ALME announced a few days ago they have initiated a 5 well drilling program in Kentucky.

The Gradyville Oil Field is located in southcentral Kentucky

Several hundred oil wells have been discovered and produced in this field; the discovery well—known as “Willie Nell”—was drilled in 1969 and has been producing commercially for over 43 years.

Oil prices still remain above $80 a barrel and with the weather warming up people are going to start traveling more. I believe oil prices will head higher into the Summer.

ALME is operating next to some really big oil companies. Do you remember Pennaco Energy? It traded as low as $2.5 a share and eventually the entire company was bought out by Marathon Oil for $19 per share!

Could ALME be next?!!
