What Owen said was confusing regarding the Certificates because the Certificate receipts that were issued in October 2008 do NOT have a CUSIP # on them. They also do not have a stock symbol on them so they are incomplete. After all, PTRZ is now also part of the Petro America Corporation company so what on that Certificate would differentiate between them except for the date when it was issued. I guess that it would be a good idea not to throw that old Certificate away just in case. However, we will all know more as things progress.
It appears that everyone would get a letter from the Transfer Agent for the electronic shares, but perhaps the paper Certificate would then become valid assuming that the CUSIP# and maybe stock symbol would be indicated for the Petro Kansas shares when that letter goes out. That way some would have the paper Certificate with the electronic shares transfer option. Others who never had a Certificate would need to request one if in case one would be needed for the equity loan, for example.
It would be nice if those auditors would get their work done before this month of March is over. I remember when there was expectation a before Christmas in 2009 timeframe was a possible date when things would come to fruition which did not happen. The wait time kept getting extended for another week or another month. May there be even more and bigger news for Petro next Thursday.
