One should be confident they made the right choice from the start. If the loss exceeds 5-10% then it is obvious you were wrong so move on to greener pastures.

That is a silly statement to make. There are plenty of good stocks that have enough volatility to go up or down by more than 10 percent - especially in this current market environment.

I'm not arguing that is the case for this stock. I'm so far down on it that it's all or nothing at this point. And, I am well aware that is not entirely rational... I blame it on my Irish genes... they seem to like swimming upstream.
