Sintana Energy advances Orange Basin portfolio with key exploration updates

Sintana Energy CEO Robert Bose recently spoke with Steve Darling from Proactive to provide a comprehensive update on the company’s Orange Basin assets, highlighting significant progress across PEL 83, PEL 90, PEL 87, and PEL 82. Bose sahred positive results from the Mopane 3-X well on PEL 83, operated by Galp. The well, which targeted new AVO anomalies 10 and 13, delivered better-than-expected results across nearly every parameter, confirming the presence of high-quality oil and condensate. This discovery has the potential to establish a new development hub, positioning PEL 83 as a key asset in the basin. Moving forward, activity will focus on evaluating partnership opportunities, with Galp expected to seek new partners in the coming quarters. The first Chevron-operated well on PEL 90 did not encounter commercial hydrocarbons but was still regarded as a technical success. Bose emphasized the company’s confidence in the exploration potential of the block, noting that the joint venture partners plan to return for further drilling later this year. Bose also provided an update on PEL 87’s Saturn Superfan prospect, where Woodside Energy chose not to proceed after completing a 3D seismic survey. Despite this, Sintana remains highly optimistic and is now in discussions with alternative supermajor partners. “We’re very excited about opening up the doors to larger, potential partners,” Bose stated, highlighting the continued confidence in the asset’s potential. Chevron has officially completed its farm-in at PEL 82, located in the Walvis Basin, paving the way for drilling operations next year. Bose also pointed to the growing political support for oil and gas development in Namibia, with upstream regulatory oversight now moved directly under the President’s office—a move he called “a huge step forward” for the industry. Tamboran Resources boosts NT gas supply with Arafura deal

Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran’s strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We’re a Northern Territory company. We’ve been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I’ve been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon. DP Poland CEO Nils Gornall on Pizzeria 105 acquisition strategy

DP Poland PLC (AIM:DPP) CEO Nils Gornall talked with Proactive about the company’s acquisition of Pizzeria 105 in Poland for £8.5 million — a key step in its strategy to transition towards a franchise-led business model. Gornall explained that DP Poland is the master franchisee of Domino’s Pizza in both Poland and Croatia, and this latest acquisition boosts the company’s franchised store percentage from just 8% three years ago to over 50% today. “The best Domino’s businesses around the world are franchisee-led. That's where we need to be,” he said. Pizzeria 105 is the fourth-largest pizza chain in Poland, with 90 franchised stores. Gornall emphasised how this acquisition aligns with DP Poland’s strategy, highlighting the opportunity to bring Domino’s global brand power and systems to a well-established local operator. “We have the tools to help the franchisees really take it to that next level,” he said. Looking ahead, Gornall noted the goal of rebranding all Pizzeria 105 stores to Domino’s within 24 months, with a target of reaching 200 fully branded Domino’s outlets by late 2026 or early 2027.
