Just Googled "ING bearer bonds" and a funny result popped up as #11 hit, which means it must have been there for some time and/or gotten a lot of hits, anyhoo, strangely enough, it's a Craigslist ad in the financial services section, but now curiouser and curiouser, hitting the link takes you to the "this posting has been deleted by it's author" page...hmmm...here's the links:
We Fund Small Public Companies The Corporation holds 2400 5.5% ING EURO BEARER BONDS DATED FOR REDEMPTION JUNE 16, 2010, each Bearer Bond having a face value of 1M Euros. ... orangecounty.craigslist.org/fns/1628644371.html
Strange no? Added to the fact that bearer bonds have been illegal in the U.S. since 1982, and I sure would like to know where they got these alleged "acquired" bonds.
