MatchFights started staging live, pay-per-view events on a monthly basis beginning January of this year. Each event has an estimated live audience of 3,000 spectators and broadcasts live over the Internet to a worldwide audience.
Following each event, each broadcast is broken up into multiple short video clips and distributed as “free content” to social networking and free content sites in multiple countries, ensuring that the video content “lives forever.” This is coupled with viral marketing campaigns set to target the company’s base demographic of 18-35 year old males.
