You base your whole “opinion” on your personal feeling, business is not about you, it is about the whole organization and meeting its mission statement. There is no I in team for that reason, and because you believe there is no way “YOU” would do such a thing it just shows your narrow perception of the overall goal. You will fail those who work for you and who have invested their money into your business if you take an attitude that it is about you and how you feel. In this case someone looked at the bigger picture and said this is not about me and in fact for the good of the company to succeed in the long term.
