I understand that the days of 4 million volume previously didn't yield a 50% gain, but I don't know that that's completely relevant -- in this case, when the MMs are covering gains should be plentiful

i guess all i was doing with my little experiment was to try and bring some possible certainty into what the actual potential for CDIV should be, based on historical data not just hope and wishful thinking (which i am guilty of consistently doing)

the 2.53 target is just a number i got, studying the how the price of CDIV went up when the stock hit a volume of over 3 million. surprisingly, on the two days that stock hit volumes over 3 million, the share price only went up by 20% and 40%... i have read that some posters say if we get volumes of 4 million or 5 million in a day, the stock will double or triple. i am not saying it wont. i certainly hope it does. but based on prior price movement, it looks like a 4 million or 5 million volume day would probably give a return of around 50%..... so 2.53 target is what the stock price will be if the cover starts at 50 cents, lasts for 5 days, each day returning 50% on 5 million volume.
