Looks like a carefully worded statement.

Listen to Mr. Tate discuss the demonstrated speed differences between XDR and GDDR3 starting around the 11:30 minute mark in his Lehman presentation.

GDDR3 is the fastest memory on the market today, but it doesn't sound like it will be for very long.
