Lehman Seeks to Speed $5 Billion Lawsuit Against Barclays Share By Linda Sandler
March 10 (Bloomberg) -- Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. asked a bankruptcy judge to help “streamline” its $5 billion lawsuit against Barclays Plc by deeming some of the facts to be undisputed, according to court filings today.
Lehman, the investment bank liquidating in bankruptcy, sued London-based Barclays in November seeking the return of a $5 billion “windfall” it alleged was made buying Lehman’s brokerage. Barclays disputed that, saying it was owed $3 billion on the deal.
