I have been in both business aspects, manufacturing and sales. If I was the Ionic bulb manufacturer or any other product for that matter, and a marketing company can succeed in placing my product on the shelves of some of the biggest retailers in the US and around the world, I would not hesitate a single second in giving them EXCLUSIVITY on that product for as long as they please.
IF what you're saying is true, manufacturers grant a 1 year license sometimes to TEST the effectivness of the company selling their products and if they succeed this agreement can surely be extended to several years.
Further more, if I had an agreement with a marketing company that could sell all my production line, I would be insane not to give them an extended agreement for as long as they need. Simple and common sense I believe, you don't need a masters in business to figure that out right?
