I think your a pretty smart person if you surround yourself with wise and successful people in an area you have an interest in (like trading stocks) and follow their advice/lead. A wise person has wise counselors. I also think teaching others how to do something successfully (like trading) can make you an even better trader. There is something about teaching others how to do something that makes the teacher even better himself and more knowledgable.

There's that saying...Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach him to fish, he'll eat for a lifetime. Substitute the word "trade" for "fish". :)
