Not to fuel the fire, but as a shareholder, we all do pay indirectly for all costs involved with the company. The money we paid for our shares is used as working capital to run the company. The loyalties that an IR representative holds and the rules of confidentiality and legal release of information are different things. I can't blame EGMI's representative for doing her job seemingly the best she can. It's a tough job, I sure wouldn't want it.
