re: retirement, taxes & so on & so on...

Hi holycow. Next B.D. will be 69 and am also looking at where to retire one day. Born in Missouri, way to humid, grew up in Kansas, expensive & hot and have lived in Nebraska 27 yrs. Taxes high and extreem weather, 30 below to 110. Sometimes a 60 to 70 degree swing in one day when change comes. Have been a pastor for 31 yrs. Have a son in Ft Worth and looks like thats the place. Also have kids here so tuff decisions.
You mentioned 2 things, health & longevity. The Bible has one answer... "Honor your father & mother that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."
And Paul Harvey also had a good idea on life & health. He said, two things are needed, "diet and attitude". Just throwing my 2 cents out today. Hope everyone has a BLESSED holiday and praying and believing CYGX to be a great help in the retirement. jerry
