For all who might feel relieved to read Steve's message to Jan and think that this is some form of progress I would advise you to go back to sbrunner's posts during February and March of 2008. These were two years ago and he was consistently sounding a similar optimistic tone - in this case that thinnings and distributions were just around the corner.
It's what this man does that counts, not what he says, and he so far appears to have done nothing to maintain our trees since 2006. As all of us know from falling for his writings on the TATF website and purchasing trees from him, he is a skillful promoter who knows how to persuade people with his words. His tactic continues to be to reassure and delay. Our experience with him through countless emails years back confirmed this. In our case what he continually said was going to happen never was concluded.
Also, take note that the vital questions matty and planb raised a couple of posts back will remain unanswered by this man.
At this point it would serve Mr. Brunner's interests for him, through an intermediary, to be able to sooth the Hub forum with his generalities about the status of investors' trees, rather than provide transparency and answer specific questions.
