Charlie (the author) misses quite a bit more than that. From the article:

Great! What did they do?

but that most likely won't be turned on initially.

Impressive...

This new stepping is the one worth shouting from the rooftops, and AMD will.

Yeah, Charlie makes a really strong case for that.

Then follows some self-praise about the Inq breaking the "news" first. "Shocking" "news" indeed.
