On September 22,2008, Barclays PLC completed the acquisition of Lehman Brothers North American investment banking and capital markets operations. On October 7, 2008, Nomura Holdings, Inc. announced the acuqisition of three affiliates of Lehman Brothers in India, including the business process outsourcing unit . In October 2008, BTG Fund acquired local assets of the Company. (info from my etrade account under "quotes & research.*

Hypothetically speaking, if our new owner of our shares belong to Barclays PLC, we are in very good shape to get paid, everyone, preferreds and commons. They hold over 66 million shares of Coca-Cola worth over $3.5 Billion dollars. They hold over 6 million shares in Kellogg Company worth over $320 million dollars. (research found under Nasdaq.com under institutional owners), They hold over 71 million shares of Verizon Wireless worth over $2.7 Billion Dollars, so far all these companies are in the black (they have equity), our shares have equity if you paid cash, but if you bought on margin, your shares have debt.(naked-shortsellers have nothing but debt right now). Barclays holds over 1.4 millions shares of Sears Holding Company worth over $137 Million dollars, they hold over 167 million shares of AT&T worth over $4.1 Billion Dollars, They Hold over 56 million shares of Chevron Corporation worth over $4 Billions of dollars. And the List goes on and on, etc.,etc.,etc.

When Lehman brothers emerges from bankruptcy?? Tell me can they or can they not pay up the shares they took over from Lehman Brothers?? Answer is yes; however, they have been and will continue to send there short-sellers to convince you to sell out your shares. Barclays wants every penny they can get, and if you still own shares they want them back, that's why this bankruptcy is still going on. There are a lot of shareholders, still holding on to their shares and not buying this worldwide scam of naked shortselling anymore. On my behalf, I will not sell out.
