This is nothing new. The lubricant idea was mentioned quite some time ago. I even contacted the Gates Foundation myself to inform them about Alda. No response. I also discussed the potential of such a product with TO, back when he was accessible. Problem as I see it is that all these wonderful products seem so logical, but there are many issues involved in getting them to market. The main 1 being $$$.
